Doing some routine maintenance today and was changing out the air filter and noticed that the last filters I've bought seem to not really fit real well like the original. The foam surround seems to be too big. I've been putting some silicone grease on the edges to try and make it in the proper seating area, but I still end up having to take a flat head screw driver to make the bottom corners to go in. I know it's in the right spot because the screws line up and go in easily and the top part is in it's tabs holders. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yep. Had to shave mine down a bit to get it to fit. One of the reasons I went to the high performance filter.

The filter does not fit right. It works and seals, but I have to poke it in place with a screwdriver every time.

Can someone with an '11 or '12 let us know if this has been fixed? Thanks
