So my son decided to give me his over used iPhone. Took me a week or two to figure out how exactly it all works, but its pretty great. I gave up my old samsung flipper phone for it, but the headset i use while on the road does not work. In my search for a new headset my son mentioned bluetooth....so im here asking. Ive seen a few of you out there with these things in your ears...are they worth it? Do they work good? easy to use? I noticed they have speaker phones as well, i have been eyeing this Jabra Cruiser speakerphone , just wanted some advice before i bought something i know nearly nothing about!

The unit you show is for a car. If you really want a bluetooth for the bike then look at a motorcycle helmet specific model like a Cardo Scala or Sena. I have had Cardo Scala Q2 units for several years now. If you ride with a passenger or another rider they offer not only a phone connection but a great way to communicate while on the road.

If all you want to do is listen to music, the LG HBS-700 works very well inside a helmet. The mic is down by your neck, so it doesn't work very well for phone calls while riding, but very nicely when not.

Keep in mind that some state laws prohibit the use of a "headset" while riding a bike. Helmet speakers are usually ok. I know a helmet hides the headset, but if you take it off while te officer is watching....... just sayin'
Oh, and Florida is one of those states. One ear headset is apparently ok. But 2 ear headsets are a no-no. Have no idea about the other 49~

Chipper:  I use the Sena SMH10.  Comes with helmet speakers and helmet microphone, allows you to make and receive handsfree phone calls, listen to music and talk to other riders/passengers with bluetooth.
