Just out of curiosity has anyone had the nads to open a VV up? I'm not as young and fearless as I used to be, lost mine at the century mark.

Got mine to a needle width past a ton in Eastern Washington last year, that's enough for me, smooth as really old scotch

wow, you're already a hundred years old?

I've never had my Vision on a track so I will refrain from incriminating myself.  But I will say that I know the Vision is stable at any speed that I have traveled.

It has a speed limiter at 122 mph. Bumped that a few times. To go faster the ECM needs to be reworked: Lloyd Greer can do it.

I've had mine almost up to 100 miles per hour.... but I really don't like to run my Vision in the triple digits. Now my Triumph Rocket on the other hand....

I've had mine up to 115 once. Several times to a little over 100 whippin' a Gold Wing. Steady as a rock.

I've been over the century mark a number of times and for a big bike it handles well. That said, compared to my old crotch rocket it handles like shit over 100. My old Yami would do 130 easy and you thought you were doing 60. So yea, it handles well for a big bike but it ain't all that compared to a ride designed to go over 100.

Crossing Kansas on I-70 I found a safe enough spot to do the ton. Very smooth.

I'm no expert, 2up and pulling a trailer, those are not to shabby numbers.

The Power Commander V will trump that 121 speed limit also. Had mine up to GPS 123. Of course, that must have been on a dyno somewhere....

According to GPS on both my '08 and '12 the faster you go the further off the Speedo is.
A hair over110 on Speedo = 107 GPS every time

I agree. If you're a speed junkie you'll need a GPS to accurately verify your speed.

Ran it up to 115 once, pretty smooth. The HD rider I was with turned white at about 95 and shut it down.

My buddy's GL1800 runs out of power at a GPS verified 129 MPH. He was looking at my taillights at the time. I can pull away from him at that speed. My speedo has indicated 140+ a time or two when a point needed to be made, but I don't have a GPS to verify the true speed. The bikes are stable at those speeds. I have the trunk installed and it doesn't hurt the aerodynamics and may actually help them.

I'm not as young and fearless as I used to be either. I'm 62 and don't ride crotch rockets anymore. They are a pain in the neck, and shoulders, and back, and knees, and...............

My big ole slow Vision is just fine for this old man.

Funny thing. I was watching SOA the other night and he mentioned tunnel vision and silence at 93mph. I was thinking man I get my Vision over that all the time and it doesn't have that effect. I guess it all depends on the speeds you are used to.

That only happens when you have pipes loud enough to scramble your brains, combined with severe vibration at 93 MPH.

Don't know about tunnel vision...but 110+ on a back road in the sand hills of Nebraska has a certain serenity.

Last time thru the sandhills I was in the shop truck. I wish I could have had the Vision or MINI, would have been a better drive.
