I am looking at buying a Bluetooth capable helmet headset, and have found there are so many (Chatterbox, Scala, Sena, etc) out there and have heard more bad than good across the board, particularly the quality of sound out of the headset speakers.

I have found very little written about J&M, good or bad. Does anyone have firsthand experience with J&M? I'm looking to use it with my iPhone, future Garmin GPS, and bike audio, not overly concerned about Rider-Passenger capability.

Thanks

I currently run the J&M wired setup on my Vision. I can tell you that all their equipment is top notch. However, you will more than likely find that the Sena Bluetooth module sold by Victory for the bike audio integration is the problem area. Some on here have made their own bluetooth module and integrated it into the bike's sound system. While I don't have specifics links, a quick advanced search (changing it from only the last 24 hours) might get you what you are looking for.

I have the Scala unit. There is about a two second delay in the music getting to the helmet. The sound quality is not good at all in the speakers that are in the helmet if you are trying to listen to music. If you are using it to talk to passenger, it sounds pretty good and most of the time you are able to understand one another. Not satisfied with it at all. If anybody has any ideas on how to improve the system please let me know. Thanks
