I used to own a 96 fat boy. My wife hated it. She always felt like she would fall off, never felt safe. Now that we own a vision she loves the smoothness of the ride and encompassed riding position, also no more helmet knocking when shifting gears or braking, also the eat your heart out attention we get when we ride. The result of this? She wants to ride more and further, already talking about making a mining trip, (traveling to open public mines for opals, diamonds ect.). The good thing about this? lots of different states and time in the saddle, yea! We live in washington state. My question? any couples out there, maybe multiple couples that this type of ride sounds good to. Always more enjoyable in a group. Any and all responces welcome!

I am open to any trip actually. Just trying to create great riding buddies. The friends that my wife and I have together dont own motorcycles thus we are looking for friends that can expand our life experiences. Thank you.

There are several major Victory related riding events each year, some of them sponsored by the Victory Motorcycle club (thevmc.com). Also, Victory holds its American Victory Rally the 2nd weekend in August at the factory in Spirit Lake, IA. There's always a lot to see and do at that event including factory tours, demo rides, vendors, bike show, concerts, dyno tuning, etc.

Just my 2 cents, it's not always easy finding like-minded couples or even singles to travel with. When you do, it's a major advantage.

Best wishes and enjoy the ride!

Try meetup.com and search for cruisers, motorcycles, bikers in your area. I have no doubt you will find a few groups that fit what you are looking for. And the best part is.....it's all free. I ride with three different groups I found on meetup.com

Just thinkin out loud.
