Puddle Jumper
Posts: 10 Roseburg, OR | I just picked up my replacement bike! My 2009 Vision was totaled about a month ago, and the insurance finally settled. My new 2012 is all black and I will be transferring lots of chrome and stuff from my old bike when the weather turns. My 2009 was a Tour Premium, so had lots of goodies. One of those was the HID headlight. Anybody know how I tell if the headlight on my new bike is HID or not? |

| Its easy to see. . Turns on slow, kind of flickers, gets brighter as it warms up, has a bit of a blue tint to it. At night is is brighter than the headlight.Congrats on the new bike. |

Can you tell it's on at night? The halogen one isn't real noticeable. You can't mistake the HID brightness. |

I can tell the HID is on in daylight! At night, the reflection off road signs hurts my eyes.
