| I have an 08 Vision in the gray color. I think the brushed panels make it look really dated. Thinking of painting them all the gray color but concerned matching would be tough with the fleck in the paint. Have also thought of gloss black. The chrome pieces are way too expensive, so that is not an option. Have also seen the carbon fiber wrap. Did my console with it and like it, but am concerned if I did all the panels it would be too much. So, what suggestions do you have on this. If you have pics of what you did please post them.
Thanks for the ideas!

Should be able to find stuff about it on the GOOGLE machine.
Pick a color, lay a base coat, hit it with pearl and lay or roll plastic wrap on the wet pearl paint, remove and let it kick then clear over. Find and talk with a crusty old timey silver back custom painter about it.

| Buy the Victory paint for your bike and have them painted. I started to go that route but since the parts are metal and I have a black bike I had them powder coated. |

You'll spend right at $300 for paint from your victory dealer due to how you have to order it.(Not a guess, I actually did it) then paying someone to remove, prep, and paint your bike is all dependent on who does what. Removing the panels is something you'll have to do rather paint or chrome. The front sets are the hardest, basically you strip down the entire front end of the bike. If you're paying the shop to do it I'd guess you'd pay anywhere from 5 all the way up to 8 hours in removing and reinstalling all the panels. There's a ton of variables here but I'm betting you can get out shy of a grand. If where you live gets cold enough where you don't ride it for a month or so then that would be the time I'd do it. Paint and body shops typically slow down in the colder months and if you're going to have the bike down for awhile then might as well tear it down yourself. I also have the super steel gray and did my panels in a flat black. There's also wraps out there, even in chrome! |

|
I have 2 suggestions for you. 1. I had mine Clear coated at www.GRACE-FX.com in Port Richey Fl. Now it's easy to clean & looks great. take on the look of the grab handles & the

piece between the tail pipes.

2. This march at Daytona I saw the 2012's & one of them has the perfect match of a metal flake gray. Don't know what they cost but would be a great replacement for the brushed aluminum.
