Posts: 212 Tavares, Fl | I was here in 08 with an 08 Vision that was nothing but problems and a hastle to get repaired. Now I've found more Victorys, lots more dealers and hopefully a better bike....I'm looking at a new 12 vision. What are the changes from 08 to the 12 and is there anything to look for??? Thanks Roger |

| Hopefully you have better luck. My Vision is my third Vic, all have been flawless, logged about 60K miles between the three bikes. |

| Do not know where you live but here in Mn. there looks like a few good deals with dealer close outs.
Vic has changed the trainee gears for better. You can go 5000 between oil changes. Down side some of the aluminum panels are now plastic.
Here is a national craigslist to check any state you want for a vision http://www.adhuntr.com/ |

I guess the only real changes is ABS brakes are standard, extended oil changes with the new tranny and the radio was upgraded for better reception
My pearl white '11 is available if you choose to save some money. I'm selling because my SO's fibromyalgia has gotten so bad she can't ride anymore.

| Welcome back, I'm sorry you had so many problems with your 08. I guess I got lucky, mine has been a rock. As Trek mentioned you might want to look for a 2011, in my opinion a better value. |

Probably just miss having the HD owners loudly poking fun at you with their buddies around while in reality they really are so damn jealous of a better more enjoyable riding machine. My 08 has never had a glitch. Love it and ain't leaving it!
Welcome back! Visions rule.. |

Very sorry to read about your companions medical issue. My wife loves to ride and not being able to continue to do so would really be a sad day. The best to you and her.

There are several improvements to the Vision since 2008. - Improved fit and finish on several places on the Vision - Improved transmission - smoother, quieter, neutral finder feature - Improved audio system and audio informational display - Round handlebars to work with standard accessory mounting brackets - ABS brakes - Lower price but a little less chrome |

Posts: 212 Tavares, Fl | Man I hate dealing with salesmen. I'm waiting for a phone call from two dealers, they were supposed to have called Friday. Over the weekend the better half and I looked at a new Goldwing. I mentioned I was looking at a Vision and asked for a quote on the 12 wing. I finally left and never did get a quote. The salesman kept pulling up screens showing me the resale values, trade in values, msrp price. Never would give me figures to buy. Finally I looked at her and said lets go... |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I had a salesman tried to sell me a Goldwing by putting down my Vision. I had just road over 1,000 miles in 19 hours, and he want to sell me something "comfortable". I just laughed at him and told him he needed to ride a Vision. He told me it looked like a hammerhead shark. The sad thing was, he was a Polaris dealer too. |

Posts: 212 Tavares, Fl | Oh I'm going with the Vision. I got a pretty decent price quote. When I bought my 08 I bought the cb and installed it myself. It came with detailed instructions. Does anyone know if they still come with the instructions, or does someone have the instruction sheet they could email to me??? I intend to install it along with a Doc Hitch while I have it apart.. |

My 2010 seems adequate.
No Vision is simply "adequate". A Ford Escort is adequate. A Honda Civic is adequate. A Vision is much more. |
