Lloydz air filter or Vics performance filter. Planning for a Stage One download. Already have the mufflers done.

I'm running Lloydz on top and stock Victory on the front with cams and controller. Runs real good.

I haven't thought of both. For the bottom are ya'll running the stock filter or the performance filter? Can't do a controller yet. I know there isn't much difference in price, but these days every little bit counts.

Similair question.....I have the Victory installed S1L1 exhaust with the factory flash and Vic performance lower air filter...If I install the Lloydz upper intake filter and leave the rest alone, do I have to buy a fuel controller as the Lloydz lets in a little more air...One dealer tech said no, one said yes, and the other said don't waste your money unless you plan to add cams, etc. etc....I cannot and do want to spend a bunch of money on stuff I do not need if I can get by with the air filter which is supposed to offer a little more HP and better throttle response???

I added a top filter (Ness) to my S1L2 setup with out doing anything else-no issues. I did notice quicker throttle response & did not notice much if any additional intake noise that some have complained about. I now have cams & VFC III. A fuel controller would be a great addition and get you some additional power but it's not absolutely necessary. I don't think It would be a good idea to open up the air box & pipes without doing something to get some additional fuel added into the already lean condition from the factory>

S1's stock front air filter, floes as much air air the so called performance one and its only$18 bucks. If I change it every other year I can go for six years.
Top filter is Ness and I do believe it does more for the motor then the front filter.
Fuel controller is for cams. I ride just fine and get 45mpg. Lloydz IAV would be better then a fuel controller
