Need help with Lloydz IAV

colbycurtis Posted 2012-10-18 1:13 AM (#125372) Subject: Need help with Lloydz IAV New user Posts: 1 OK Maybe I'm dumb or just a visual learner. I am a little lost as to how to install the IAV. The only thing that has me confused is the larger middle hose. I have Lloydz valve and a piece of heat shrink now where I am lost is what is the hose that is the short piece between the IAV and the IAC it cant be that piece of heat shrink right? so if the large middle hose connects to the large nipple on the IAV and the other end goes to the airbox what connects the small nipple of the IAV to the IAC? I tried reading the instructions and it talks about removing a rubber piece and discarding it and cutting a half inch off. All three of them! I replaced them with the original Vision hoses I took off when I installed the IAV. The stock hoses are molded together in a form called ribbon tubing. I simply cut the three hoses apart and installed them separately on Lloydz IAV. Hopefully the stock Vision rubber handles heat aging better.
