Posts: 1290 Ruskin, Fl | I had given up. Plus I was running a little rich with the way it was tuned mine looked like they were painted black. Nobody had even commented on them in a year. Lol. Just traded the bike in for a 13. Don't think I'll get them again. |

If you're bike looks new - makes you look like a dork who buys one but never rides it.
CLEAN but well used. Don't be crazy.

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | thanks for the info! to say it makes the bike look new is completely stupid.. use that same way of thinking for your car, your house, Who gives a crap what others think of it making your $20,000.00+ bike look new.. Yeah thats exactly what i want to do.. pay $20-$24K and then NOT wash my bike and make it look like a piece of crap or make it look like a victory is not worth washing in the first place. comes down to a level of pride in what you own and defines you as the person you are. if your a slob cool.. I surely wouldnt buy a new $4o-$60k car and Not clean it cause it makes me look like a new owner or whatnot.. if you do feel the "NEED" to prove yourself to others, show them your instrument cluster (mileage) other than that. i guess you can put 1000 miles a year on but bike but NOT wash it and it will make you look like you ride 50000 miles a year... |
