I wonder how long before they put Goldwing bodywork on the VTX1800 so they can get some legroom?

I just heard from my wife's cousin who has a friend whose neighbors son works at AutoZone, they are going to discontinue the Vision if Honda markets this bike. |

Posts: 523 seattle, wa | I've always said if Honda builds a "bagger" version of the Wing I will be back on one, BUT even though I really like the look of the F6B, the shorty windshield wouldn't do much for rain protection, nor does it have ABS.
The rear view of it has the popular Transformers look that I see on so many youngs kids cars these days.
It's a great looking bike with Hondas reputation behind it. I want to see one in person and take a demo ride. |

The new seat may allow more room to move a driver (and passenger) back a couple of inches because custom seat builders will not be restricted to the Gold Wing's space between the tank and the trunk. Also, although the engine may sound like a Civic, it is bullet proof and powerful. I think it will be a good seller for Honda.

There were some pipes I heard on Valks that made them sound like a high performance race car, very cool sounding. I can't remember the name of them but I'm sure someone will chime in. |

| I just might have to take a "look" next year...Rode a 99 Valk Tourer for 6 years and loved the thing...I have no current plans to move from the Vision, but who knows??..Not real keen on the low windshield and foot pegs, but I'll sit on one when they come available....Probably keep the Vision as I smile more everytime I ride the beast...... |

Posts: 1308 Sand Rock, AL United States | its the same wing with a chopped shield and minus the trunk and some black out that is so popular today. if Victory released it , everyone would complain about how we put out another parts bin bike. It has the same foot position that GW riders complain about.

| Wow, I like it. One difference over a Vision is the rear bags are quite a bit larger and if you need to get to the rear tire they swing away on a hinge. Although I can't figure out why they don't put an electrically adjustable windshield on it. That has always been one of my main gripes with the Goldwing. I might have considered the F6B but love my Vision! One of the things I missed with my latest bikes has been engine character. The 106 V twin has some real soul and I'm afraid the Flat 6 would run like a sewing machine. Good work Honda. |

We rented a GW last month and the lack of leg room was horrible. I had aches in my legs and shoulders after 2 days of ridng the Wing. A nice machine, but it ain't a Vision. |
