Posts: 1229 Rancho Cucamonga, CA | Has anybody installed a switch for the dual map option on the PCV? Did you buy the Dynojet one or use your own setup? Where did you install it?
My understanding is that if you have the switch with the autotune, you would be switching from a basemap to dynamic (Autotune) mapping. Some have set one basemap for a richer mix that they can switch to if they get stuck in traffic. Others have set the basemap to a leaner map for fuel efficiency on a long trip.

Posts: 880 Orlando, FL | Hey Nozzle, I read an article from an HD guy that did this. He had a "base map" that was set to run rich, in an effort to get the engine to run cooler in traffic or hot weather. Then switch back when desired. I'll try to find the link. But living in FL, we get pretty hot and I have never had issues with the Vic engine overheating. Yet I have thought of doing this same thing just to cool my legs a bit! LOL |

Posts: 880 Orlando, FL | Nozzle, here's the link. It's an HD guy but he lays out fuel tables etc. etc. that might help in your quest. And about the switch itself he says you cab use any on-off switch. To quote him.......
Now, how to configure this thing to provide optimal mileage without overheating or incurring other adverse side-effects? The first step after installing AT and making sure it works properly is to install a hardware switch. This can be any on-off switch, like the ACC switch already on most bikes or something you might buy at Radio Shack for a few bucks. All you need is a switch that provides an open and closed circuit at your demand.

Posts: 1229 Rancho Cucamonga, CA | I've read that article, and it was one of the reasons I wanted to add a switch. I was just curious if anyone else has on a Victory (or Vision) and where they put it. I like the idea of putting in the blank spot next to HID switch. Barring any better ideas, that may be where I put it. |

| could do it on the valence just below the switch on the side. Do one with a light so you can see when its on or off |
