Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | In case you haven't heard, Sydney aka "FishWitch" Sheppard passed on Monday. Sydney was popular in the Victory ranks, a long time member of the VMC and part of the Polaris "True American Road Trip" contest. She will be greatly missed. Cause and circumstance is completely unknown at this time, other than she passed in her sleep. http://www.victorymotorcycles.com/en-us/2012/experience/pages/blog672010.aspx |

Posts: 166 Bullhead City, AZ | We were in Williams AZ with Sydney and some Harly rider was talking crap about Victories saying they would never last. Sydney speaks up and tells him how many she has put on her bike the last year. He shut right up and then she tells him thats her loaner bike from Victory. She starts talking about all the miles on her Kingpin that she hasn't driven for a year. It was more miles than most of the room together. She will be missed every group needs someone like her. |

Fountain Inn, SC United States | I've known Syd for years and have had the luck to ride with her a few times despite being on opposite coasts. She was a kind, fun, easygoing woman that could ride with the best of us. She will definitely be missed.
Syd, I'm sure you're now riding the best roads with a big never-ending smile. Give it the throttle girl!!
Even Victory give her tribute: http://www.victorymotorcycles.com/en-us/2012/Experience/Pages/SydTr... |

Posts: 69 Citrus Heights, CA United States | Sat Feb 2 we are having a memorial ride for Syd along the Sacramento river to Rio Vista one of her favorite roads. We will get lost at least once using GPS (those of us that knew her this was normal) as we feel she would see the humor in it. AS Radioteacher stated I would ask that anybody riding on this Sat put their footpegs down soo she could ride along and to honor a true Victory ambassador and pioneer for woman motorcylist. Thanks Vern
