I am going to the Darkside on my '13 Vision sometime before the Summer months arrive. I have found 3 different run-flat tires that I am interested in but would like opinions from Darksiders only.
1. Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3 ZP http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel...
2. Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW-3 RunOnFlat http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel...
3. Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D DSST RunOnFlat http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Dunlop&tireModel=S...

Like I said, this question is for Darksiders or the ones that are thinking about going to the Darkside ONLY.

I have about 10K on that Michelin. No complaints. Very smooth ride and shows almost no wear.

I just bought a Dunlop Winter sport in the 175/60/16 size but they're rare. I guess darksiders were buying them one at a time, lol, and Dunlop has discontinued that tire in the 175 size. The 195 you linked would be an excellent choice.

I don't know a thing about the Goodyear. Enjoy the ride

I liked the Dunlop, but could not find one in the 175.. I done think the 195.. will fit with a hitch, so I am going back to a MC tire.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago JB. Mavis Tire showed 2 in stock. Shame they're discontinued.

Thanks for the replies. The only thing that worries me now is the comment from jb hatch about a hitch not working with the 195/55 not working with a hitch. I don't have one yet but I am planning on one soon.

I believe that Michelin has the Alpin PA3 in the 185/55x16 for $171.00 at Sam's Club...

When I was looking at a CT one of the riders here said do a 185 for trailer hitch cause its a 1/4" narrower.

When you do it first fifty miles carefully till you get the sugar coating off the rubber. I run 38psi lot of the guys run 40psi. Check air the first of every month and tire will last two times longer then any E3
