Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | We had a horrid winter - sometimes we went almost 3 weeks between rides. But weather is getting nice - and Easter Weekend here is perfect. Here is a video showing a little bit of what we saw on our 6 hour ride today. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtRDPNEQu78 |

Springboarded stumps are beginning to vanish as the last use of that harvesting method was well over a Century ago, and wasted billions of board feet of lumber, but hey-we're never gonna run out of trees or fish!
It's also pretty common to see trees sprouting from stumps given our wet climate.
And I spent the day working the front flower beds removing cabbage sized weeds. That's OK! The Daffodills are mostly up and the Tulips are right behind them and I can cruise the fields during the week when everyone else is working |

So, tomorrow I'll get the multimeter, a couple screwsticks and see if it's the battery (we had a 40f Winter and it's been plugged in to the tender all Winter) or just schmutz that needs to be off the bike. And that is also why I ride all winter ... |

Posts: 785 Mt. NO green 'N' light-I left the bike in 1st when I put it up last Fall-Got it in neutral and hit the button and away it went, so now it's off to the dealer to set up an oil/filter change. But right now I'll watch the darkest comedy film ever made, 'Dr. Strangelove' and have some lunch. |
