Oh, are you ever gonna feel a difference! The VTX just won't turn! The Vision turns and leans like no other big bike! For the first 6 months, every time you get on the VV, you are going to say, "WOW!"

If you don't have a helmet with a face shield, get one. Bugs taste terrible and you'll get a mouthful since you won't be able to stop smiling. Also, be prepared to work a bit harder to get those miles. Every time you stop, someone will want to ask you a zillion questions about the Vision. I've found the easiest way to avoid that is to not stop which is easy to do on the Vision. 100 miles on my previous bike ('07 Kaw Nomad) was almost a chore. 300+ miles on the Vision is just getting started. Hell, Rollin' rode 1600 miles on his Vision just to start an 11k mile trip (in 10 days, but he's insane).

I have close to 35K on mine and it has been great fun. I live in AZ so I ride to work almost every day. I find all kind of reasons to ride, nearest grocery store 6 miles if you drive the shortest route. For some reason I always forget something. Enjoy the ride!

Welcome Tim! My only complaint is gas stops take quite a bit longer than the VTX. Too many lookie lou's and questions! LOL!
