I have a black 13 VV. The Victory mounting bracket's upright stand is a dull silver (looks like raw forged component). I find it to be down right ugly in contrast to the gloss black paint that it is mounted on.
Has anyone modified - painted, wrapped...the support? If yes, can you please provide pictures. |

| Hey Tom,
I have mine mounted on the left side handlebar by the controls on a magnetic RAM mount. Works perfect and ends up closer to your eyes making it easier to read and touch while riding. Vic sells a neat little piece that takes the place of the lower control clamp and has a RAM ball on it. Makes for a very clean installation. If you need a pic let me know.

| I use Ram X-grip. can be mounted to the handlebar. I have 2 X-grips - one for my gps and one for me handheld CB. I mounted both just before where the handlebar turns to the hand controls. nice and easy to use and see each one. |

Posts: 169 Iowa | I use the ram ball that is threaded to the left handle bar. And I use an arm to move the gps more to the center. Easy to operate or adjust for glare. I don't use it except for trips, so I just run the gps cable into my glove box and plug it in. I have the adaptor for the outlet so all works well. When not in use, I just leave it in a bag in the trunk. |

I asked Marc if he knew how the OEM mount is attached. He thinks it is in screwed in . I'm hoping that since the mount costs $149 that Victory provides a new console with the mount installed on it. If this is the case, I will re-install the original console and mount the GPS using a handlebar/ball joint setup. |
