Posts: 1365 Central Maryland | O2 sensors are just plain ugly; hanging off the head pipes like an engorged tick.
I ordered the O2 bung plugs from Witchdoctors yesterday; I am completely removing the O2 sensors from the head pipes; since I have installed the Dobeck EFI jetkit.
Is it easier/better to remove the O2 sensors while the head pipes are warm; or cold? Should I use a penetrating oil first? What about applying some copper anti-seize to the bung plugs before installing them?

I did use the copper washers my plugs came with. |

A 10mm allen socket works good to install the plugs with a little copper anti-seize like you stated.

Posts: 251 Mechanicsville, VA United States | My understanding is the O2 sensors do nothing for the way your motor runs, they just help with the Idling of your motor.......if you get the PCV get the Auto Tune to go with it, it comes with different O2 sensor that work with the Auto Tune and the PCV to tune your motor and I can say they work very well together. I installed this set up on 08 Vision back in Feb. and my bikes run fantastic now, I had the VFCIII before the PCV and I couldn't never get to where there wasn't something wrong with the drivability of the bike so if you go with something other then the PCV you're going to need a Dyno done to get it right and if you don't get the Auto Tune to go with the PCV you're going to need a Dyno done also to get it right.
