Pittsburgh, PA | On the way home from the Clapton Guitar festival at MSG, my son and I stopped at the Cabela's outside Hamburg, PA. A brandy new vision pulled up. I talked to the couple for a few minutes and made sure to tell him about this great site and all the great information that is posted here. Hope they join up as new members. They had jersey plates on it and said it was only two weeks old.
It was the first vision I have seen since they changed the logo. I must state that I do not like the new logo and I am biased towards the old globe and winged V. Where I have the lighted emblem on mine they had the new logo. It was a non illuminated 3-D plastic colored piece that stuck out of the fairing. Did they do away with the lighted emblems all together with the new logo? If so, it is a shame because I did not like the way the new one looks. On the black background and on a completely black bike, my eyes were drawn to that colored piece and it looked out of place. In my opinion they should have just changed the lens and to an all black version of the new logo which should be illuminated from the behind.
The great think was that the tip overs, grab bars and the console cover were all blacked out and that looks so much better that mine.
I hope the couple does find this site and if they do I welcome them. I do not post alot, but I do read all the post and have learned much.
