Subject: New 2011 Vision 8-Ball question, mystery hose

I just picked up my new Vision 8- ball today and when I took the seat off there was a black hose laying on top of the drive belt. It looks like it is attached to the shock and has a U-shape at the top. The picture shows what it looks like, I can't see or figure out what is connects to. The dealer is 2 hours away or I would just take it back. Thanks for your help.

If its about a 1/2" in size its your blow by hose and should be hooked to your frame on the upper left side.
with seat off look by the upper left hand side cover you'll see a nipple sticking out of frame where hose should be.

If hose is the size of break line the yes it for the shock and should go up to your left saddle bag. Most shock hose are very short

I'm betting blow by hose. See where its connected to. Should be behind rear cylinder

Thanks for the help, it is the blow by hose per the service manual (see pictures). I could not see any nipple nor is there any easy access to attach that I could see. I hooked it on top of the shock mount for now. I am just trying to avoid it laying on the drive belt where I found it.
