Posts: 691 Manchester, CT | Thanks guys!! I absolutely love the bike! Monkeyman, the Clearwater LEDs are unbelievable. I am a true believer in you get what you pay for and the clear waters are no exception. If anyone is looking to buy driving LEDs, spend the money once and you won't be disappointed! |

I, too, have the Clearwaters and love them. Not to thread hijack, but they just upgraded the Glendas to Darlas. Twice the lumen output than the Glendas. You now get 2000 lumens out of them. |

Posts: 30 Leighton, IA | I love black even though I chose the Gold Mist color for my 2013 VV. I just don't have the energy any longer to keep a black bike looking great.
Very nice ride Street Eagle.

Posts: 1066 Peru, IN | I've got a '12 Bronze Mist and have enough trouble keeping it clean (and it's probably the best at hiding dirt/dust). My last bike was black and it always looked dirty. I like the color but hate the maintenance. |

Posts: 691 Manchester, CT | Thanks to everyone for the kind words! On Wednesday of this week I put in probably around 7 hours of detailing. I purchased Victory's Detail Tote product. I am in love with the products and results. One of the products is called Awesome Metal Polish...it lives up to its name. I used it on the aluminum components e.g. shift and brake levers, clutch and brake handles - they came out resembling chrome! I just posted a picture of the break lever and the bike post detailing.

Posts: 222 Barefoot Bay, FL United States | Nice pics. I like the chrome and black. But I'm curious about the jack. What is the brand name? I have a similar one, but was bought for my '80 Shovelhead, and is too wide for the Vision. I tried to use it and almost lost the Vic onto the floor, on it's side!! Thanks, witchbiker |

Posts: 691 Manchester, CT | Hey witchbiker...its a J & S Jack. It costs $399 plus I added the T bar. The jack is phenominal and with the T bar, moving the bike around in the garage is a breeze. When using this jack with the vision, the manufacturer includes 2 rubber/neoprene blocks. The reason being, the front jack points on the bike has an extrusion that adds about a 1/2 inch. The blocks are used on the back lift points to compensate for the front points. They are easy to line up and once you jack the bike up a couple of times, the block stay in place. I ended up ordering a skid plate from HMD. This way I don't have to worry about the lift point contacts. The other reason I ordered the plate is some of the parking lots out in CT have large speed bumps.
I will send out pictures with the plate installed, pix of the bike jack up via the plate and also the oil filter and the plate location.
On another note...I ordered and just received the shift and brake pedals from Dion. Using his solution, you don't have to drill out the threaded holes where the current pedals are installed. |
