Finally persuaded myself to do the 6 each (1/2") hole mod on my 2011 Vision. I like the sound, nice and deep, not obnoxious; finally sounds like I have somewhat of a spark plug firing gasoline motor; as compared to the sewing machine sound of the unmodified stock mufflers.

Removed the chrome tailpipe end caps; removed the heat shields (easy since I have long ago cur the stock banding clamps and replaced them with large screw type radiator hose clamps) and then used a Sawzall (gingerly) to cut through the black end caps. Cut them suckers like butta...

Then used a 1/2" drill bit and easily drilled out 6 holes per side. reassembled it all and went for a ride. Sounds NICE...

Later today or this weekend, will play around with the Dobeck EJK and see if I can dial in a little more fuel... for a little stronger pull on acceleration.

Now need to buy some High-Temp black paint to see if I can "tighten up" the appearance of the pipes from the rear.....

Yes, the "Monster" and the Vision both co-exist peacefully with each other; in the shed.

I also have a beer refrigerator in the shed as well. Sort of like my little man cavelette

You think Carpenter would be interested in porting and big valving some Victory heads ?? From what I read, they are good at "improving" 4 valve heads from any motorcycle..............

I'm not sure... he does a lot of head work on all types of bikes. Never heard him mention Victory nor have I seen a Victory in his shop.
