Fork tubes, all internally lubricated parts contained within the front fork tubes and front hub; shocks, mounts, swing arm linkage, springs, adjusters, valves, adjusters; coil springs swing arm bearings or bushings; front and rear wheel bearings; frame swing arm; wheels; and spindles. All seals and gaskets.
Looks like it does to me. I thought the extended warranty only covered the powertrain. Sometimes, it's good to be wrong. |

Posts: 103 Davenport, IA | Well, had puddle of oil under the shock of my '09 vision after the bike had sat for a week. I thought the ride was getting little rough. At his point, dealer filed claim under extended warranty and think its covered. Ordered new shock, hope to be in by weekend. Doing the work myself. I have heard a few others have had this same problem. First time in 29,000 miles something had failed on the bike. Looks like the replacement part number had changed, so there must have been a problem with the original. Still best bike on the planet. |

| If you're replacing your shock and don't run with the trunk most of the time you might look into ordering one for the Cross Country instead. It has a bit lighter spring which gives a better ride. Otherwise, they are identical.

| I have extended warranty cover my rear shock, starter, cruise switches and hand warmer switch on my 2008. Last year the starter would not work as the solenoide was bad but the dealer could not do it before the long weekend. I put it in but the dealer charged me for the part as I did it! DEALER SUCKS!

Posts: 103 Davenport, IA | Kudos to my dealer. He got my extended warranty through bike/shock unseen. He ordered the shock, arrived in 3 days. I did the work myself and dealer was good with that. I just had to give them my old leaking shock. All is good now. |
