| Put this on the general board, but it would be better here.
What tire? What size works with the Bushtec. I know the Hitchdoc is not as forgiving as the Bushtec and I am looking towards the 195/55/16 that I ran on the Goldwing. Thanks for your informative answers. |

| I did, but was hoping for tire recommendations as well as size. |

Posts: 935 Rockford, IL | From what I've read and understand a 195/55 series will NOT work with either hitch. A 195/50 series will BARELY work with Bushtec and will NOT work with a Hitchdoc. If you are a "bit heavy" when loaded two-up the 195/50 will probably rub.

A 185 might rub with either hitch, depending on load and riding conditions. A 175 will not rub with either hitch. Many folks have been reporting that the Dunlop Wintersport and the Goodyear Fuel Assurance are both pretty decent tires in the 175/60-16 size. |
