  | I have 2007 Hammer with 92k miles. I install a Barnett Scorpion clutch. The clutch slipped from the start. The stack height was correct. I was use victory oil. Upon disassembly I noticed that the throwout bearing release rack did not rotate freely. Pulling the pressure plate there was signs that the release rack was bottoming on the transmission input shaft. I contacted Barnett they said they had never heard of that and would look onto it. I machined down the input shaft and reassembled the clutch. So far so good. |

Never had a problem there. It's always good to keep up with any current problems if it's a one time thing or a design flaw............... |

  | I went through 3 scorpion clutches in a few thousand miles on my 2008 Vision.  The first one lasted about 200 miles.  I went back to the factory clutch.  Didn't want to get bit by the scorpion a 4th time.
