I have a 2013 Vision with 5200 miles. About 3 times over the past few months while sitting in traffic or at a stop light the engine shuts down with no warning. It immediately fires back up as soon as I hit the starter but it is mind boggling the way it happens. Has anyone else had this happen? I have ask the dealer but they haven't heard of this happening to anybody. Any help would be appreciated.

First off check battery cables and add 1/4" lock washers to each terminals now they will stay tight.

Are you blipping throttle when bike quits. Its a no no with the vick motors

Isn't 'blipping throttle' just a Harley thing? As in "look at me! Look at me! Look at me!". Simply f**king ANNOYING...

To the OP, just curious to what the idle is when this happens. What mods do you have if any, what neck of the woods are you Hi altitude or sea level.. IAV installed???

No 'blipping the throttle' just sitting waiting on traffic movement. Everything is Victory, Stage 1 and pipes. I hadn't thought of checking the battery terminals so I will try that. Thanks

when i had s1 l1 set up with nothing else. it ran soooo lean.. even with the victory reflashing.. my dealer told me this.. even when you get it reflashed the flash has to meet EPA regs so its going to be lean as well.. yes not as lean as without it. but still lean either way.. I bought a power commander and i no longer mess with those useless victory Epa maps...
