Pittsburgh, PA | i thought the changes were the 106 engine being put in other victory motorcycles aside from the vision. I seen where someone posted the 2009 CARB victory line up. it was the 2009 line up that C.A.R.B. has to approve. The changes were 106 engine being used in such bikes like the hammer etc.. |

Linwood, MI | The Freedom 100 and 6 speed transmission were new in '06 on all models. To the best of my knowledge they were not released on any models prior to that.
The 106 is brand new for the '08 model year and offered only on the Vision. |

Let's hope they're not as ugly as the originals (sorry and no offense to those who like the current colors) and let's hope they do away with those GOD-AWFUL brushed aluminum panels.
If they do...I'm calling my dealer tomorrow morning and putting in my order. |

Tonopah,NV | I am sure the people that own Black, Cherry and Gray love their bikes I love my Steel Gray one. The brushed aluminum parts are all available in chrome. That's the way I am going. I hope they make a new color you like. |

San Antonio, TX United States | I have to admit, i like the aluminum parts. I wish they were actually brushed aluminum instead of paint though. The chrome is nice, but i plan on re-painting the bike in the next couple of years anyways.

I'm sure Polaris did a survey and came up with the panels, or some engineer/graphic designer sat in a room and said "Damn, we need some pho aluminum panels".
Glad you like them, and I'm sure there are others that do too. They're just not for me. |
