Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | Was out washing the bike the other day and noticed that one of the front rotors had a little more free play and that you can actually make the rivets ting when you rock it.. Can't find the specs in the manual on how much free play is acceptable before replacement. Anyone know off-hand what the specs are? |

| you really don't want any move meant when you grab it. I did see some where a guy tuck a bolt and put large washer on the bolt and slid it threw the hole and then put a large washer and nut on back side and tighten it down. He did it to all of them and tighten them all up. I know there is a rotor on ebay.
If you can find them there called buttons that hold the two parts together. I did see some a year a go and they were around a 100 bucks |

Yup. No free play can also cause rotor warping and surging when the brakes are applied. I had that happen on my Sport Cruiser, before I learned to check for free play. A little free play is normal, and if you don't have any, it indicates that the buttons are gunked up and need to be cleaned out. Rotors are expensive if you have to replace them.

Posts: 466 Grand Cane, LA | Ok, answers all over the board! Free play, no free play. I'm pretty sure they are suppose to have a little free play, just curious did anyone know what the specs are. Guess a call to Victory is in order. |

| I'll make it simple for you.
The one that doesn't move is the good one. I know you don't believe me so ride to dealer and check on of the floor bikes out and see for your self |
