Posts: 36 Florida | I was thinking in having my bike painted with carbon fiber. Has anyone done this yet? Are you happy with it? What is a fair price to pay to have it done?
Thanks

Posts: 499 Chattanooga, TN | Its a vinyl tape. I did my center console and gauge cluster. Looks pretty good. Thinking about doing more, small bends like that are a b!t?? though! I'd put in a few photos, but I'm on an iPad and have no idea how to resize them, admin! |

Posts: 482 Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | If your serious you need to look into hydrographics and get the pieces dipped and clear coated. Not any more expensive than any other custom paint would cost. 3M film is OK for a dash but hydrograpics are beautiful & durable. There's also a way to make conventional paint look like carbon fiber using an air brush & mesh that could be done but the results are more of a carbon fiber "effect" rather than the real looking film.
