Columbia,MO | I was wondering about the install of my Cycle Dragon Pipes. What are the 4" hose clamps for? Instructions are not very clear. Getting ready to attack the install today but not sure about it. I have alreay installed Lloyds intake plate with a noticable increase in power. I have a Lloyds VFC III coming but was wondering if anyone tried riding this configuration without it. Don't want to miss out on riding if I can help it. Thanks in advance. |

Valdosta, GA | I don't know about the Cycle Dragon pipes specifically, but the S1L1 Vic pipes came with new clamps to attach the heat shields to the new pipes. You'll need to cut the factory clamps to get the shields off of those.

Columbia,MO | Thanks Mike! That is exactly what they are for. I installed them on instinct and they work great. The deeper, throaty sound is just what I wanted. I can use the stock tips or the gatlin tips with the Cycle Dragon Pipes also. Sure is nice to have other Vision owners and this site to help make educated decisions and give out useful info.
