I received an email from Victory to write a review of my VV. You can post your reviews by going to....
http://www.victorymotorcycles.com/en-us/write-review.aspx?wt.mc_id=...
If you get a chance, this is your opportunity to share with potential buyers the challenges that you may have experienced with Victory e.g. Vision front fender, fit/finish, standing behind warranty vs saying its due to wear and tear.
Here is the review I wrote....
I purchased my 2013 Vision with a number of Victory's chrome options. I love the optional reverse which has been extremely handy in the mountains and hills in New England.
I don't know if Victory will edit out the following but I need to make potential buyers aware that Victory's fit and finish, including paint and their willingness to remedy potential life threatening defects is horrendous. Point in case is the rear portion of the Vision's front fender. The fender is cracking and in some cases riders have had to perform emergency maneuvers while riding when the fender would break loose and lock up the steering. Victory's engineers claim that is in wear and tear. My fender cracked at 5,000 miles.
In summary, I love my Vision but due to Victory's inability to take responsibility for the above mentioned, I will look at other manufacturer's for future purchases. |

Posts: 341 West Salem, WI United States | I got the email too and just posted my review. I forgot to copy it before submitting, and I'm surprised I didn't get an email copy of it afterwards. Mine was a good review 4*, but I do have an issue with the fit and finish, my left saddle bag doesn't open without help and the front valance has a chip and doesn't fit into the corners very well. It will be interesting to see if they "edit" any of these. EDIT: I received an email asking that I confirm my review. I wasn't to harsh, just pointing out the obvious from my experience so far with the Vision. Here is my short review: I purchased a 2013 Victory Vision this past fall. The ride and handling are simply amazing. This bike just soaks up the miles and keeps a smile on my face everywhere I go. The motor is smooth and strong and the handling inspires confidence as I ride. The only negative thing I can say about the bike is the fit and finish isn't as good as I expected. I had a 2008 Kingpin and it was flawless. A couple of the plastic panels need adjusting, as well as the front valence panel has a small paint chip that happened when I put it back on. Maybe these things will be taken care of at the 500 mile service this spring, I hope so.

Posts: 160 Lennox, SD | Apparently they don't want to hear from owners with bike older than 2012.
My guess is that they don't want the "long time" owner to have any input.

Posts: 8 Northern Illinois | I got the same request for me to post a review.....and I noticed the same thing....you have to first indicate year and model of your bike. I guess my 2011 Vision doesn't count, even though I'd be happy to give a glowing review.
I did respond to the email to point out this issue and got a roboresponse that I would have to call customer service.
I'm not interested in working that hard to give them my review. |

Posts: 19 Maylene, AL | It seems to me Victory is more interested in the XC than the Vision. The Vision put Victory on the map... |

My Victory Vision review=best bike I've ever ridden.
+1.
The review options don't include my 2008, so I didn't participate.
