Posts: 173 Prescott Valley, AZ | Okay, I'm looking for an intercom system that I can use with the XM radio on the bike AND run it through earphones worn inside the helmet. I normal ride using an MP3 player with earbuds in my ears as this negates the wind noise and I get better sound quality as well. (Nothing wrong with the bikes stereo system I just don't want all that wind noise). I'm seriously looking at the XM system for my Vision but also want an intercom that can be used as well. I know that the Victory system is out there but apparently you have to get the CB in order to get what I want, I don't need/want the CB. Any and all sugestions are welcome!!

Posts: 18 Austin, Texas | I'm in a similar scenario, but I am a long-time Autocom user. I am trying to find out if anyone has tried adapting the Autocom (or the Starcom) to the factory audio system. My desire is to have Sirius (I already have a subscription) and really want to make this work without butchering too much wiring.
FYI, I can't use the factory intercom (not enough room in my helmet for the microphone). I can use a J&M headset, but don't really want to butcher up my helmet for it. The Autocom headsets can be used with no helmet mods (short of just installing the headset, which requires NO cutting on anything).
Ideas anyone?

Posts: 173 Prescott Valley, AZ | Thought I read or heard somewhere that Sirius and XM merged or that one bought out the other this week. I'll keep an eye out for any other posts on this thread, I'm betting that somebody out there has already done what we want to do, we just need to find them!!
