Posts: 154 Cabot Arkansas | Went for a ride last week on Push Mountain road AKA "Arkansas tail of the dragon"I was leading 2 other Vision riders and had gotten ahead a couple of miles in the curves of Ar 14 when I made the turn onto Push Mountain road I parked my Vision on the shoulder so I could walk back to the turn to signal the other riders where to turn as the road is not well marked or easy to see,I am standing at the intersection waiting for the other riders when I hear a loud thud and I look around and yep you guessed it my Vision had fallen over. WTF ! Well I'm thinking the tip overs saved it.WRONG because the shoulder sloped down the tipovers let the bike fall all the way over onto the saddlebag lid and front fairing piece around the mirror and of course it was gravel so now I will either have to look at the scratches everytime I see the bike (NOT) or spend money for new parts that will not make my bike any faster While the tip overs are great they will not save the bike from damage in every situation....

Posts: 324 New Orleans, La, | Actually the title of this post ismisleading. It should have been " Vision pilot failure". Either you put the kickstand in really soft ground on a steep grade or park3d the Vision on a steep grade with the kick stand on the high side of the grade. Either way that's pilot erroe not the machines part failure. That's like crashing a car at 30 mph and saying that the bumpers failed to protect the body, shm. |
