I just ordered the VFCIII from Lloydz and in anticipation of installing it I referred to the instructions on their website. I must confess, I am NOT able to locate an O2 sensor(s). Some direction would be great if someone could provide it.

If I am not mistaken, they are the huge, ugly, brass things sticking out of your exhaust header.

I have been wondering if replacing them with a less unsightly brass or copper plug is possible.

I bought a set of O2 sensor plugs from WitchDoctors. I think they were around 12 bucks each.

no need to un bolt them. If you do you need a special socket. Auto pars store can sell you plugs there the same size as some oil drain plugs
Follow the wire one behind left side cover. The front one you will have to unbolt left side belly pan cover to get at it.
No need to cover the plugs they will be fine

I disagree. The O2 sensors look like shit attached to the head pipes. Take them suckers out. Fit bung plugs back in.

You can get to the O2 sensors with a regular wrench; just keep the angle right. I did.

No, you don't.  Lift up the plastic cover on top of the battery (you can get to it from the left side of the bike).  If you're careful (and don't have huge hands), you can find the connector.  You can't get both hands in there but you can disconnect it with one hand if you have a little bit of patience.

This will show you where the disconnects are and how to get to them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZqYMv_u5GY

Lloydz's instructions are for older visions. The new visions have the rear disconnect in a totally different location.
