In response to most of the new Vision issues, I have had several "Problems" with my new machine, and my dealer has been incredible when it has needed some "fixin'". The most recent is the top edge of the front lower right-side panel. I didn't notice the mis-alignment on the panel until it was put back on AFTER the headlight housing was replaced. That was done because I had one of the bikes that had the HID headlight reflector fall off inside the housing. That replacement is a LONG process. After the bike was back together, I was polishing it and noticed that I could see down through a notch in the top of the panel. The edges that come together between the top section of the wing, and the lower fairing were not matching up. The hole was actually a molding notch on the inside top edge of the lower fairing. The dealer had a broken lower fairing from a previous mishap of another bike owner. He compared the two lower panels, and discovered that my panel had a MUCH larger flat area on the top of the panel that woud not allow the panel to fit all the way in. They have ordered a new right side lower fairing for me. NEW PROBLEM??
I have to emphasize that my dealer in Barrington, N.H. has been unbelievable in helping me out. They have been very patient with me. Every time I go over to have something looked at or "fixed", the owner and his mechanics (Carl especially) have done everything in ther power to get me back on the road. My headlight replacement was a first for them, as will be the right lower fairing. Carl has had mine apart so much, he could probably do it blinfolded. So far, all under warranty.

The heat issue....IT'S AN AIR COOLED MOTOR!!! Compared to an HD, your sitting back a lot farther than on the HD. Obviously the heat will flow toward you if you are behind the motor more than 'on top'. Put the lower wing-wings on. My dealer has them on his, and he loves them. They kept his pantlegs totally dry on a recent trip that included a significant rainfall.

Headlight adjustment. I've discovered a small space underneath, on the right side (as you are sitting on it) that I can get my hand up through to turn the knob for adjustments. It ain't easy, but adjusting it from the top is impossible!!
Your thoughts???

My dealer been pretty good. My trouble has been relatively minor. My MAP sensor crapped out on week two. Fixed it right away for me. I had a cosmetic problem on the engine. The black wrinkle finish lifted off the most visible fin. The dealer was willing to replace the cylinder, but after I saw photos of what is involved, I decided I did no want my bike taken apart to that degree. A sharpie was good enough to hide it.
I have turned my headlight all the ay down. No more drivers flashing me.
I do have a new problem I have not gone to the dealer for yet. I am getting water in my front left turn signal. Upon close inspection, I looks like the housing has separated.
