| Can a Garmin 590 GPS be installed on a 2010 or later Vision painlessly? I know the 660 works, but the 590 seems to be a better upgrade. Just wondering if the pinouts are the same, uses the same mount as the 660? Is there a Vision compatible mount/interface for the 590?
If not, has anyone done a Vision install of a 590? What did you have to do to make it work properly through the radio, etc ? ?
Thanks! |

However, it appears that the 590 cradle would bolt onto the Victory mount the same as the 660 cradle with the plug connection at the bottom of the cradle. If this is true (and I'm not sure it is) the hook-up would be as simple as removing one cradle and attaching the new one to the mount. |

Posts: 241 Monrovia, Ca | So I had to cut/ splice and tap into the harness to connect into the wire harness on the bike. Used the same 4 wires from the bike that my Zumo 660 used. Not that hard to do. Just go to remove the radio console.
Sorry, didn't take pictures. |
