| Anyone added a modulator to their vision yet?
I always run one on my bikes but I don't see any bike specific listings yet so was wondering if someone has a part# that worked for them. Thanks..... |

| Ark, no not at all. In fact I've never had a bulb failure or one that needed replaced with all the miles I've ridden since I first installed a headlite modulator (over 300k, but 3 bikes). I've also never had a modulator failure. I've used both the Kisan PathBlazer single bulb modulator, and the Comaginations dual bulb modulator. I prefer the Kisan of the two brands but it is more expensive. So if price is a concerns either work fine. I stick with these two as they are simple plug ins with no wire splicing/cutting.
Well based on the lack of response I suppose I'll be the first. I'll post when I find a good option and with a difficulty rating on installation |

| I have a modulater. I'm hesitant to install it because to me its a Pain in the A** to change lightbulbs on the Vision and I have small hands. |

When riding in a group or at night I would want them off. When leading a group or when riding by myself in daylight I would want them on. |

I've heard that they are annoying to other drivers, but at least the drivers SEE you - it gets their attention.
The modulator works on the high beam, when switched to low it stops modulating. There is a photo-sensor that also cuts the modulator signal when it gets dark so you can use your high beams without worry.
And yeah. . . I'm a chicken. You install and report back with detailed instructions Teach, I'll follow. |
