Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | Today I got a call from my girlfriend who used my car to go to myrtle beach SC. She said I made a biker cry today. I thought OMG she backed over a bike with MY car!! Im thinking there goes my insurance rates. Well here she tells me what happened. She is on her way home back to PA, and on her way home she is at a stop light. In the rearview mirror she see's a bike coming way to fast towards the rear end of the car! Im glad she rides because she knew to keep an eye on this guy. So what she did was moved the car very quickly to the side of the road so he didn't ram into her. While she is doing this she hears his tires screaming. This older man on a full dresser HD stops right in the spot that my car was in.. My g/f rolls down the window and the guy looks at her and busted into tears and thanked her for thinking and moving so quickly. She told him she rides also. He just lost it when he realized he was ok and no damage happened to anyone at all. She jokingly told me, we usually say how we have to look out for the cars on the road. This time she had to look out for the biker on the road.. lol I just cant get over how bad it could have been for everyone.. |

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | Thank you guys.. Im so glad she was alert. I think her riding had alot to do with it. Cause now everytime she see's a bike she wants to see what kind it is and what they done to it. Plus btw she is a retired Medic. I told her. He will never forget her face and will never forget what "almost" happened to him. |
