Posts: 143 Birmingham, AL 08 MC Tour Premium 2012 Bronze Mist | Mine should be here mid-week and I'm thinking of bolting them on and heading for Spirit Lake. Should I have to get the system flashed for the new pipes?
The guy I ordered them from said if I didn't remove any of the packing I wouldn't need to.
Anybody running stock firmware with the Cycle Dragon pipes?? |

Posts: 80 Richmond, Texas | I already had the stage one program on my bike. I put the pipes on with no stuffing or baffle in there. It sounds ok. I just thought there was supposed to be something in that canister?
We'll see how it goes. |

| I would like a comparison of the "Big Honkers" & the "RPW" and any other exhaust options out there. I am looking for performance & SOUND. I had the dealer install S1L2 and they perform well but the sound is just not there for me. Any suggestions/input?? |

The guys from Cycle Dragon said a reflash would be unnecessary on a stock bike. |

Posts: 64 Columbia,MO | They make great sound! I removed all packing and drilled out the cats. Also drilled 12 half inch holes in the end caps (six each side) Sounds deep and throaty. As for remap sorry I can't help as I already had a fuel controller installed. If I get time I will make a sound clip video and post. |

I have a sound clip that does not do the pipes justice, lacks some of the low rumble but the pipes do sound good, I removed about 1/2 the packing from each slip-on.
If you want a clip send me your email. |
