Posts: 14 Ono Island, Orange Beach, Alabama | Ken's Sports in Kaukauna, WI started dumping their excess inventory of Visions today. I picked up a new 2008 Vision Tour Premium for $16,774 today. They are going FAST. Contact Cody at 920-788-0220, but do it quick. |

Posts: 14 Ono Island, Orange Beach, Alabama | I had just come off a 7000 mile Alaska trip on my Electra Glide and I was sick of the HD's miserable low speed handling qualities. I responded to an ebay ad they had for a used 2008 Vision tour premium when they told me they would sell the new ones for the same price. Guess which one I jumped on!! I got mine 5 minutes before they closed this afternoon. I'm sure they will still have some at 9am CDT tomorrow, but probably not for long after that.

Posts: 14 Ono Island, Orange Beach, Alabama | You do have to pay 5% Wisconsin sales tax (that your state will credit you for when you register it, if your state charges sales tax) plus an $89 document fee. Wisconsin law forces them to collect the tax, even on out of state sales (I hate that part). I lose 2.25% because my state only charges 2.75% on vehicles. Still, what a deal!!

When I lived in Wisconsin, your trade-in value was deducted from the sales price and you only paid sales tax on the difference. California changes 100% sales taxes regardless of trades or no-trades.

This might make y'all sick, but we only have to pay $300.00 maximum in South Carolina.
It is 7% or $300, which ever is less.
We do have a personal property tax though. That might run you $300-$500 the 1st year,
depending upon where you live. It goes down each year as the vehicle depreciates. You
have to pay it to get the sticker for your plate.

They also have the personal property tax charged every year when you renew your plates based on the bluebook value of the vehicle. Tim |

Posts: 742 North Orange County CA | Ah c'mon Tim, if they didn't charge us the way they do, then how could they build all these beautiful made for a biker roads?
Such as:
the 57 Freeway - More washboards than your average stadium cross, and rain grooved to boot.
the 91 Freeway - Best place on earth to practice lane splitting, since the traffic is almost never moving.
the 710 Freeway - More 18 wheelers per mile than any other place on earth, more alligators than central Florida, test your reaction times, its FUN!
the 5 freeway - More potholes (and jackasses) than Washington DC.
Think of it as a proving ground, paid for with our tax dollars - if we can survive here, then that x-country trip on our new Visions will be cake.
If we just keep telling the rest of the world think its too crowded and nuts out here; It'll help keep the population down.

Posts: 935 Rockford, IL | My first post here.....
I just got off the phone with Cody at Ken Sports. I put a deposit down on an black 08 Tour Premium model for $16,774. They are now 100% out of stock on Visions. I got the very last one they had. I simply couldn't pass up this fantastic of a price. Took some sweet talking with the S.O. but she finally said "go for it"...sometimes I'm so spoiled. No I won't share her with you.
However now I've got a "cart-in-front-of-the-horse" dilema. I've got two bikes to sell to make room in my stable for the Vision. Know anyone interested in an 06 Kawi Concours or an 05 V-ROD Screaming Eagle??

Posts: 14 Ono Island, Orange Beach, Alabama | Congratulations! I get mine Monday. They do have one Midnight Cherry Vision on ebay with about 300 miles on it with a stage 1, level 2 kit. It is $17,600 and some odd dollars, buy it now. When you consider the cost of the stage 1 kit, that is also a great deal. I can't believe someone hasn't snapped it up |

Posts: 404 San Antonio, TX United States | You guys better jump on those great deals. I know i had to get on mine the moment it came my way. I ended up with a Black Tour Premium, Stage 1 Level 2 exhaust, i-Pod Cable, chrome grill set, chrome access cover, chrome inner leg fairing, chrome side covers, trunk luggage and side bag luggage with the mirror in the trunk lid. All that i got for $22 K. The Motorcycles Gods were smiling on me that day. I can't belive i almost forgot this one, i also pre-ordered the custom painted side panels at the same time. So that was $22 K for the whole package.
