| I've had a 2720 on my 08 Vision for a few years now but I've never bothered to update the maps so today I decided it was time. We're leaving on vacation soon to unfamiliar roads so I thought it prudent to bring current maps (gps) with me.
Unfortunately I can't seem to get garmin to recognize the device. Does anyone one know if garmin still supports the 2720? Has anyone tried to update a 2720 lately and been successful ?

Pittsburgh, PA | is there a limit of time for when they dont support a product anymore? I know sonic just did his, but im under the impression those units are Old? i had a 2720, actually 3 of them, and the technology in those things felt like they were from 10-15 years ago... between speed and lack of features... even the size of the screen was smaller than most. but if it works then i gues no reason to get rid of it.. |

| Well I spoke withGarmin today and the 2720 has been dropped by them so there are no updates available. They say they "just don't have the technology" ?! |
