Does anybody who what the wires are that provide constant power to the Powerlet plug in the trunk of a 2009 Vision? Or another continuous power source.

Thanks in advance.

Did you read what you posted. If you want continuous power go straight to battery. I don't think there is continuous power in the trunk

Keep in mind a phone or ipod will drain the battery

Johnny, the power outlet in the trunk is for sure constant. No doubt about it!!!!

I know I can go straight to the battery. Don't want to make anther connection there if I don't have to.

If the 2009 is like the 2008, there is already an extra constant 12 volt connector zip-tied to the wire harness on the right/rear of the bike. It is wired in parallel to the Powerlet outlet in the trunk. The connector is gray in color, "L" shaped, and is meant for the optional Powerlet outlet that can be installed below the right/rear speaker. It is fused with a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box. It is probably tucked up behind the filler panel below the passenger backrest. After you clip the zip-tie, it will be long enough to reach out from under that panel.

Ronnie.
