orrick, mo | Just got my new front fender put on. For now it is in bare metal clear coated. I had to make some spacers to mount it. I think it looks pretty damn good for now. Later i'm going to have all the brushed metal and fender wrapped in vinyl (white carbon fiber).

orrick, mo | Oh yeah this picture was taken where my garage used to stand. May 10th tornado totaled my garage. Hopefully will have a new one in the next couple of weeks. Nobody was hurt so its all good and no damage to the bike. It was in the garage at the time. |

orrick, mo | I got it through Drag Specialties but Klock Werks actually makes it. The one I used is part #1401-0236. They have several differnt styles also. I ordered thru a local bike shop and the sales guy called first to make sure it would fit.
It hugs the tire pretty good. I have a 27mm spacer on each side. The front holes on the fender lined up good and just required a straight spacer but the back holes were offset shorter than the mounting hole in the forks by 15mm. 14 gauge steel and really well made. I couldn't be happier with it so far. Even all the guys at my local dealer liked it. One of them rides a Vision and said as soon as he sees a crack in his stock fender he's going to be ordering one.

How much? Can you replace without removing wheel? Would be cool if you could nuke the broken one and just slip the new one in.

Pittsburgh, PA | i like it.. if i was to change anything about it... i would make the Rear part of the fender NOT show the tire and be like the front part of the fender, where it seems to show only the wheel.... example.. if it hugged the edge of the rim ALL the way around the wheel.. it almost appears to have a "gap" at the rear part of the fender.. unlike the front part.. still nice .. |

orrick, mo | It cost me $302 and I installed it without removing the front wheel. The fender is actually tighter to the tire on the back side than it is on the front. They do have several other styles that fit that you may like better. This one was the closest I seen to the stock fender shape. |

Peru, IN | Rick 106 - 2014-05-30 3:01 PM I wonder if a Cross Country fender would work? Absolutely. It's not as "beefy" as the OE Vision fender but still looks good. After the 1st fender broke, I bought one and installed it. It took about 2 hours but I could reinstall it in about 20 minutes. (I took it off when I got the replacement fender.) The front bolt hole lines up with the top (original) fender mount. You have to make a piece to attach the rear bolt hole to the hole for the rear section of the OE fender. (approx 2x1x7/8) The only mod you "should" do to the X bike fender is to straighten out the bends in the rear mounting flange. Not absolutely necessary (I didn't) but it fits slightly better if you do. The X bike fender (XR, XC, XCT) profile fits the wheel perfectly, just like it does on the X bikes. It also hugs the tire a little more than the Vision fender. |

orrick, mo | I made a spacer block 27 mm thick with a counter sunk hole drilled straight thru to mount to the fork and another hole offset 15mm drilled and tapped (6mm holes). The spacer was made square but I had to remove some material to fit around the fork tube so now it is L shaped. It is solid as hell. Just got back from Arkansas and
everything is still solid.  |

Prairie City, IA United States | Looks like I might be in the market for a new fender. I was planning to Plasti-dip the front forks and instead found one side of the rear fender was already broken. I used a large fender washer to temporarily fix it but called the dealer today to see what Victory will do. Upon closer inspection, I found I have a fork seal out too.  |

Peru, IN | So far, Victory's been pretty good about replacement fenders, even out of warranty. It helps if your dealer is pushy. Make sure you file a claim with the NHTSA. The more documented cases, the better chance Victory will work to resolve the issue, not just with you but with everybody. |

but really, I'd like to see a head on shot. I like the side shot as long as it's not too skinny. Seen some remind me of a birds beak
