Corpus Christi Tx. | There is a black type of rubber boot/shield right under the engine behind the kick stand and my question is what is the wire that runs inside/alongside of it. This boot/shield is maybe 2 inches away from the crossover pipes. A fellow Vision rider showed me this on his bike and said that it looked like it had melted some from the crossover pipes being so close to it.
I have yet to check mine til I get home but in the meantime can anyone tell me what this is.
Appreciate any info on this.

South of Houston Tx | That is the connection for your oil pressure sending unit- for the idiot light on the dash. I only know that because my light never worked and the dealer technician found the wire off and showed me. |
