Posts: 8 Minnetonka, MN United States | Hi all-
As you may be aware, the 2011 Vision 8-ball ditched the rear tip overs and the passenger floorboards.
My wife would like floorboards, and it would seem they kind of go with the tip overs.
I am having a hard time finding something that claims it will work.
I suppose I could order up a couple of generic minis. and hope to get them on, but was wondering what other fellow 2011 8-ball owners have done.
I did find a post where someone put Cross Country ones on, but they didn't fold up.
thanks in advance-

Posts: 752 Broken Arrow, OK | By just looking at a dealer parts catalog, if you went OEM,
2 tipovers at $185 ea.
2 rear floorboards at $130 ea.
and not sure if you need the brackets or not, but probably do
BRKT-REAR BUMPER
5250029 2 $132.99 = $266
so your dealer can hook you up with factory stuff for around $900
or keep checking ebay for salvage parts too. Good luck cause when Momma ain't happy........................................ |

Posts: 8 Minnetonka, MN United States | Thanks for the reply guys- I think you also have to get different exhaust shields too, in order to get the tip overs to fit properly. My exhaust is freshly ceramic coated black, and that just adds to the cost. I am leaning more what gilbertma did here:

message in with HMD520 too as he has done a lot of work for me.
thanks agian for taking the time to reply. |

| I still have the XC boards on my 8 ball and like the OP said , they don't fold up. This is not a problem for me because I think they look better down than up, they have a nice curve that matches the bag profile. I also left the "stay up" mechanism out and when my legs touch them they instantly move up to keep from biting your leg, unlike the tip overs that don't move. One thing I thought of doing was to use a quick release pin and just take them off when not in use but they really aren't in the way so I just leave them on. |
