I don't currently own a Vision, but it has really gotten my attention lately, and I've been watching the magazines, reading articles, and scouring through the posts here and on thevmc.com. I'm curious if any owners would like a center stand on the Vision? I currently have a Hammer and an Aprilia Tuono - neither of which have a centerstand - and there's times when I miss being able to park my bike on one, either for overnight or even in the garage. I had a Goldwing a number of years ago, and a couple of BMW's as well, and it sure makes parking in the garage easier with all the stuff I have in there already. I have a PitBull stand for the Aprilia, and a Craftsman jack for the Hammer for when I have to do belt/chain adjustments, oil changes, etc. I see reverse is being added next year; I wonder if there is enough of an interest in a center stand for either Victory or an aftermarket manufacturer to add one.....

FastDoc, they would be hard pressed to come up with a reasonably priced center stand for the Vision I think. Since there isn't any frame under the motor a center stand mounting would become a serious issue.

The Vision rides pretty low, and as already stated, a center stand would be an engineering challenge. On the other hand, due to it being so low, it's not at "tipped" when it's on it's side-stand as many bikes (like by V92C) are. I like a center-stand for loading to insure everything is balanced as I pile it on, but in looking at the Vision, I'm not sure that's real necessary.

Both the lack of a center stand and the fact the Vision does not lean very much on the kickstand were brought up to Victory staff at the Spirit Lake rally. A center stand would be nice due to the difficulty in accessing the rear wheel for cleaning and checking/adjusting air pressure. The shallow lean angle on the sidestand makes parking on uneven or sloped surfaces a little iffy as far as the stability of the bike is concerned. We drive on the right and most roads are crowned with a slope towards the edge which puts the kickstand more or less on the high ground depending on the bike's angle to the roadway.

Someone needs to make a simple lever type of lift (to use in your garage) that hoists the bike from the rear tip-over guards... now that would be cool! With a wide base, it would be super stable, and allow the use of a small scissor jack under the motor to lift the front end.

I have a couple of Condor Motorcycle Stands that I use on my Valkyrie and Suzuki. I have not freed one up for testing the front fender clearance on the Vision yet, but if it holds my extremely heavy Valkyrie Interstate, it will surely hold the Vision.

These are extreme space savers since you can store the bikes standing upright. You drive right on to it and hop off. And then just back it of with a rocking motion.

As I mentioned, the front fender clearance on the Vision is the only thing I am concerned about and need someone to watch it the first time I put it on there to make sure the back of the cradle does not touch the fender.

Center stands come in many varieties. My 1947 AJS had a stand that was attached to the rear subframe near the axle and protruded past the rear wheel.

Harley "display" stands mount on the front of the frame near the crash bars. What about something that mounts to the front "tip overs" using the threaded holes that are already there?

Perhaps a "roll-off" stand like Brown's used to make for BMWs?

Just park it in there right. Not like this.

I moved the bottom to the 2nd hole from the back. It appears as though the 3rd from the back
wasn't enough to keep the Vision's crush on my Kawasaki. The kiss was so gentle, there isn't a
mark of any kind. I sent our Dog "Rescue" in to check it out first.

Wow - Your Garage looks like mine (But much more organized). I have a Valkyrie, Suzuki, Yamaha YZF 600 and a Suzuki GXR 600 in the garage and we had to move my fiancee's Suzuki to her house (Thus the reason for selling two).

Glad to know that the Vision stands in the Condor without hitting the back of the front fender.

I use a Condor "drive-on" wheel chock for my Vis. She rides in my Toy-Hauler when I'm traveling. The Condor holds her up very nicely while I attach 6 -yes, 6 - ratchet straps to hold her down. While I was on my way out to California, my Vis came UNSTRAPPED & fell over on to the T-O-P points. I was only using 4 ratchet straps.
I now strap her down as such : 2 from the front attachment point under the fairing, 2 from the rear T-O-P points going forward & 2 from the passenger "oh sh1t" grap handles going rearward (using soft straps from the grab handles to the ratchet strap hook). I have not had any movement issues using this method & have pulled the T-H from northern Cali (Eureka) to Jacksonville,Fl on a straight 7 day, "go as many miles as you can in a day" trip over some of the worst Interstate pavement I've ever driven over.

OBTW, I call them "oh sh1t" handles because when my S.O. hears me scream "oh sh1t" she knows to hold on to them as tightly as she can because I've lost the balance & we're going over on to the tip overs. lol

Here is a pic of the one made for 03-08 Vegas style frames if I see enough interest in center stands for the Vision we can begin production on those.
