Posts: 64 Altoona, Wisconsin | Back when gas stations had charm and personality. Now they're all big corporate cookie cutter behemoths. Ah, for the good old days when there were "gas wars". I can remember filling my '57 Olds for $5. |

Told you those Vision's were so fast they could go back in time! |

| Time Warp? Good or bad?
1. Remember back then many people still used outhouses. No thanks.
2. People walked to work.
3. TV service was free but you only got 2-1/2 channels.
4. The rented rotary dial phone NEVER broke. Of course many people had a party line.
5. Keeping matches and a finger nail file in the glove box. Match book to gap the points and file to clean after you left the key on.
6. Hand chokes and gallons and gallons of gas wasted because people forgot to close them.
7. Many, many dirt roads.
8. Stomping on the floor to get the tubes to seat in the TV for a better picture.
9. Of most people came to complete stops at redlights and stop signs.
10. Almost everyone used their turn signals.
People only remember the good parts. |

I'm SERIOUSLY considering "triking" my Vis but I'm afraid it would cost almost as much as the Vis did new (Having some real difficulties with balance these days). |

Ain't no one doing it yet. I am not even aware of either Voyager or Tow-Pac
making the add on wheels for the Vision bottom yet. |

They may have to mod the site to put links to all the articles being written, so they can still be reviewed. |

Posts: 742 North Orange County CA | Tryke? I don't know, but a side car in keeping with the design of the Vision, now that would be cool!
Mount it to the tip-over brackets on the right side. No funky u-bolts. Tap into the split brake system put a nice disk brake in it. Match the bag contour as a guide for the wheel well/fender. ... where do I sign?
Imagine! A place for the dog, the wife , all the gear, it's removable, and you still get to experience the thrill of two wheels (in left hand turns)! |

Posts: 550 Tacoma, WA | I would love the good old days that Blue Ox mentioned. I have lived with an outhouse in the winter, and the 2-1/2 channels of Tv, and rotary phones....Hell, just last year, before I deployed to Iraq, I lived in a cabin with just a generator for power!!! It was nice, only 12'X24'.-----Metalguy |
