New Bohemia, VA | Well my dealer closed its doors today. They've been having a sale for the last several weeks to drop inventory. Well I was able to pick up a pair of chaps for half-price. I had pondered about getting chaps before but I didn't think they would really go with riding a Goldwing. They're more of the nylon armor crowd and not so much for leather. So I always thought it would look out of place riding a Goldwing in chaps. Now that I've got a Vision chaps are a nice accessory that fits right in. And not to mention that the wife unit really digs me wearing chaps. If I knew she would like them so much I would have gotten them sooner, Wing or no Wing. Oh, my dealer is moving, they closed the doors today to move to the new location. |

| Lol, yep been wearing them for years (even when I rode wings). You may not be aware of the several studies that conclude that leather is far superior to ALL other armor in a get off. Evidently leather slides much better than any of the other materials and ballistic armor. As a result far fewer injuries usually caused by tumbling occur wearing leather. Another good reason besides your wife diggin you in leather, lol |
