That'll get your attention. Anyone else's rider complain about dirty calves while riding???Especially the right side. We've been riding the Amish country the last three days and her right calf is completely black. I briefly looked under the bike and the belt alignment seems to be in the middle of the sprocket so I don't think its the problem even though the dirt is black. It looks like its coming up thru the break in the plastic in front of her floor board....Tomorrow while the bike is cool I'll do more probing around the drive belt.....

Did it just start happening? My wife rides with me alot and nothing like that to report. Is it anywhere else on the bike? I wash my bike twice a week and would definitly notice something like that.

Interesting. All is well  here. You may need to check that belt alignment or if there is something chewing away at it on the drive gear.

Might want to check for an exhaust leak. That is the general area of the crossover to the left side pipe.
